Groove Theory was an American R&B duo consisting of singer Amel Larrieux and producer Bryce Wilson. They are known for their hit song "Tell Me" which peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995 and became a classic 90s R&B jam. The duo released their self-titled debut album in the same year, which received critical acclaim and featured collaborations with artists like MC Lyte and Guru. Despite their success, Groove Theory disbanded in 1999 and both members went on to pursue solo careers. However, their legacy and music continues to be celebrated by fans of 90s R&B.
